Champions League

Its that time of year again when we enter the Champions League knock out rounds. We will be looking at the team news for the 2 Champions League matches on show for you tonight. Firstly

AC Milan v Tottenham

Milan team news- Milan are without any of there 3 new signings (Antonio Cassano, Mark van Bommel and Urby Emanuelson) as they are ineligible to play this match. Ambrosini and Pirlo are both out through injury and former Spurs and Portsmouth player Kevin-Prince Boateng out with injures. With the injures Milan are expected to go with a 3 man strike force with Ibrahimovic, Robinho and the young and exciting Pato.

Tottenham team news- There will be no fairy story for Bale this time, the guy who scored a hat-trick against Inter at this ground, as he has a back injury, so Kranjcar is expected to keep his place. But Van Der Vaart is expected to recover from his calf injury take his place in the starting lineup. Crouch is expected to shake off his back problem and Modric will have a late fitness test to try and prove his fitness.

Ledley King, Kaboul and Huddlestone are all out with injury while Jenas is suspended. This could give the chance Palacios and Sandro to play in the heart of midfield.

Score Prediction- 2-1 Milan.

Valencia v Schalke

Valencia team news- They will be without there midfielder David Albelda who is suspended and is also nursing a knee problem. There January signing Jones is available while Juan Mata is expected to recover from his ankle injury.

Schalke team news- Raul is going to make his first return to Spain since he left Real Madrid, he played 741 appearances and should he score he will become the "Uefa's all-time leading goalscorer". They are tied at 70 each. Schalke will be without Kyriakos Papadopoulos who hasn't traveled with the squad after getting injured in training. Christoph Moritz will also miss the match with an knee injury. They are also expected with a 3 man attack with 3 former Real Madrid players of Raul, Metzelder and Huntelaar.

Score prediction- 3-1 Valencia.
