Wozniacki- A double celebration for Wozniacki as she has regained her world number 1 and won the Dubai Championships as she won it without dropping a set. She won 6-1, 6-3 against Svetlana Kuznetsova. Kuznetsova did save 2 match at 5-2 but eventually lost the set 6-3 in the final set. Wozniacki was too powerful in the end for Kuznetsova and she didn't help herself by making too many unforced errors. But Kuznetsova is expected to be back in the world's top 10 when the new world rankings come out on Monday.
Roddick- Roddick seems to love playing at Memphis as he has won his third Memphis open against Milos Raonic but it wasn't without a fight. It was a really tight first set which went all the way to an tie-break and won it 9-7. The second set also went the distant but this time the Canadian (who is a wildcard) won the second set 11-13 on tie break.
Roddick then seemed to have had the game won when he became 4-1 in the decider but Raonic powered his way back to get it to 5-5. He then did break him one more time and held his nerve to win 7-5 in the decider. This was his 50th ATP world tour final victory.
Soderling- Soderling won Marseille open against Cilic coming back from a set down. It was a very tight first set which Soderling made many mistakes which stopped him taking an break and and lost the first et 8-10 at tie break. He was very frustrated and used that anger to concentrate his mind and stormed back and won the next 2 sets 6-3,6-3. This will keep him Soderling at world number 4.
GB- There is a return for Bogdanovic as he is re-called into the GB Davis Cup team. He is joined by James Ward and Jamie Baker as those 3 will be fighting for 2 singles places. Fleming and Jamie Murray will lead the doubles attack for team GB as they look to beat Tunisia on the weekend of 4th of March to 6th March. Jamie's brother has already ruled himself out for this match which will be held at Bolton.
The captain Smith says "This is a team with the experience, ability and passion to win this tie. Hard work and a good team spirit will also be key to a successful start to our 2011 campaign," The winners of this tie will be playing Ireland or Luxembourg on the 8th-10th of July this year in the second round.
Ken Skupski- Finally Ken Skupski has won his 13th doubles title with his new partner Haase. They beat Tsonga and Benneteau 6-3, 6-7 (4-7), 13-11. This is a new partnership as Fleming and Skupski split up in October despite having broken into the world's top 50 last summer.
