I would like to start by apologizing for not doing the review of the other match in the champions league.
Valencia vs Schalke 04- What a night for the great Raul. Playing his first match back in Spain since leaving Real Madrid and getting a massive goal for his club and for him self as he has become the person with the most goals in European competition history. He equalized after the hot striker in this champions league Soldado scored his 6 goal of the competition. This was a scrappy game where there wasn't too much between one another. Quality it lacked but the night had to belong to Raul. A great natural goal scorer and deserves the limelight. This puts Schalke in a great position going towards there second leg where they must be seen as slight favorites but we must not count out Valencia just yet.
