Other football news

FA cup- The magic of the FA cup carries on as giant killing Everton (beating Chelsea in the last round) were beaten them selves as Reading went to Goodison Park and won 0-1. Matt Mills strike will be remembered as the hero of the round as he fired Reading into the next round. They will play either Manchester City or Aston Villa in the next round.

There are 2 more 5th round replays tonight as Man City vs Aston Villa and Arsenal vs Leyton Orient. My prediction is that Man City will want a response from there draw against Fulham so I think they will come out on top and Arsenal will have too much at home against Orient.

In the Scottish Cup Celtic vs Rangers as they play the replay. After Celtic league win against Rangers I think there home advantage will be too much and they will come out on top.

Everton- Everton have lost Fellaini for the rest of the season. He got an ankle injury and had to have an operation on it. Also Cahill is on the treatment table and will also be out for 3 weeks.

England women's football- Kelly Smith scored on his 100th appearance for her country as she help them beat Italy. Ironically her first appearance came against Italy in 1995.

Welsh FA- The Welsh FA have apologized to fans as it made a mistake in selling 1,500 tickets which didn't exist. 951 England fans will have to return there tickets and 549 Welsh fans will have to return. They said "The reason for this reduction is that the total tickets that the Football Association of Wales understood could be made available for sale was incorrect". This is a match which has been sold out for 2 weeks ago and is the first time since 5 and a half years ago (against England) that it has been full for a football match when Wales play.

Finally Rio Ferdinand harassment case had to be delayed as a woman (Susanne Ibru) didnt turn up to Macclesfield Magistrates' Court. A warrant for her arrest has been handed out. The allegation is that Ibru has gone to his home and kept wanting to talk to him. The case will be heard at a later date.
