Man U- The Glazer family have conformed that they still own 100% of Man U. There were rumors that they were selling off a significant stake of the club but they denied this. A spokesman said "There has been no change of ownership." They have been fears that they are struggling to pay off debt interest and they having to borrow to pay off debts. This story will run on my guess is.
In other Man U news is that Anderson, Ferdinand, Giggs, Evans and Owen will miss the tie against Marseille this Wednesday. After impressing for Man U last match Smalling is expected to get the nod to play along side Vidic on Wednesday. Youngsters King and Tunnicliffe are included in the team to travel and the De Silva brothers will travel even though they both came off injured during the match against Crawley.
Chelsea- Torres is expected to make his Champions League Debut this Tuesday. The other signing Luiz will be cup tied. Bosingwa will start but Essien and Anelka will be playing on the bench. Alex and Benayoun are still long term injures and will not be involved in tomorrow's match.
Blackpool v Tottenham- Blackpool dont have any new injuries they are Gilks and Crainey are still a few weeks away from returning. Kornilenko & Sbai will be have late fitness tests.
Spurs will have to play without Rafael van der Vaart as he has a calf injury. Woodgate and Corluka will also miss the match through injury.
With a victory tomorrow for Spurs it will rise then up to 3rd as they would overtake Man City and play the same amount of game. Blackpool will atleast go up to 12 th with a victory win by 3 or more goals and they can move up to 11th. More importantly it will get them closer towards safety as these teams try and get towards the magic 40 points to keep them up.
West Ham- Robbie Keane will miss the next month of football as he recovers from calf injury. He is doubt for the Euro 2012 qualifier in March. But better news the first team coach has denied that Matthew Upson will miss the rest of the season with an Achilles tendon injury.
Wolves- Kightly is set to come back into the team after 15 months being injured. He might be sent out on loan to gain his fitness. He was signed from non league Grays Athletic in Jan 2007. He only played 10 matches last season but it will be a great boost for him.
Spurs- Harry Redknapp has said that David Beckham is "welcome back any time". He doesnt have have any plans to sign him but his all round attributes is something that Harry likes. He said "He's a busy lad, his life must be unbelievable but when you get a lad who wants to come here and train every day when he could be sitting at home having a month's rest, it tells you everything about him." His contract ends at the end of this year in December and it will be interesting what he will do next if he does come back to the prem or stays in America or even retires. We will see.
