Man U vs Arsenal- After that bad tempered loss against Barcelona Arsenal have to pick themselves up for this big match against Manu. During the match Fabregas got injured and he will be out of this match. He joins Walcott, Song and Vermaelen on the sidelines. Van Persie is likely to take over the captaincy.
For Man U they also have an long injury list as well. Ferdinand hasnt recovered in time for this match and will remain on the sideline. He is also joined on the sidelines by Nani (who got injured in the Liverpool match), Anderson and Evans. These players join the long term injuries of Valencia, Hargreaves and Michael Owen. But Vidic will be back for this match as he returns from suspension. Vidic return is a key for Man U as they looked very weak without Vidic or Ferdinand against Liverpool. Arsenal will be fired up for this match and I will go for 1-1.
Birmingham vs Bolton- Birmingham got an big point at Everton last week as they crawled out of the bottom 3. For Bolton making there place in the premiership after beating Aston Villa last week this cup tie will be an big match as they look for there first silver ware in many years. Birmingham have a lot of doubtful players Bentley, Zigic, Ridgewell, Carr and Gardner. Hleb and Dann are out of this match. Maybe they will have Premier League survival in there mind and maybe not risk most of these players.
Bolton will have to play without Sturridge as he is cup tied. He joins Samuel, Knight, Davis, O'Brien and Ricketts are all out injured. I can see Bolton coming out of top of this match as for Birmingham staying in the Premier League is there priority. I will go for 1-2 Birmingham.
Man City vs Reading- After an poor night in Kiev Man City will want to bounce back quickly. But they might have to do it without Balotelli as he had an allergic reaction during there lost but that might prompt an re-call Tevez back into the team. Nigel de Jong was also rested and is likely to be re-called to the team as well. However Milner is likely to miss through an hamstring injury.
For Reading they are the last non Premier League team. They won brilliantly against Everton last week as they won away from home. They will hope Matt Mills will be fit. They will give him an late fitness test. Jobi McAnuff also could return from an ankle injury. They will be without Griffin and Federici. I can only see one winner in this match. Man City rested a few key players for this match. I think Man City will win 4-1.
Stoke vs West Ham- Stoke will rest a lot of players as they look at staying in the Premier League. Players like Sorensen, Faye and Higginbotham are likely to play. It is an bit surprising that Stoke are not taking this as serious as they are quite close to safety and this is one way to get into Europe.
For West Ham they feel an good cup run will help them stay in the Premiership. Robbie Keane might return into the team. Parker and Obinna are fit to play after picking up minor knocks during there last match. Gary O'Neil is out as he is cup-tied. Collison and Stanislas are long term injuries and will not feature. I believe that West Ham have the fire power upfront full of goals and I think that will play in there hands. Also an weakened team by Stoke will also play into West Ham's hand. So I feel West Ham will win 1-3.
