Sports round up

Tennis Davis Cup- Nadal is fit to make his return as he is due to play for his country in the Davis Cup as Spain play Belgium. In other Davis Cup news Djokovic is going to lead the defending champions as they play India in the first round.

6 nations- Andrew Sheridan has been ruled out for the rest of the 6 nations as he has got a torn calf. On in better news for England Flood looks to have recovered of his injury and will prob keep his place Scotland. Wales want Davies to be rested. He didn’t play against Scotland because of hamstring injury.

cricket- former England swing bowler Dominic Cork has been appointed as Hampshire captain. He took the captaincy last season when Mascarenhas had an Achilles injury.
In other cricket news Flintoff has signed a contract with Penwortham which is a local club in Lancashire. He will be playing with his brother Chris Flintoff.

Jessica Ennis- She will be missing the Euro indoor competition through ankle injury. She is the world and European heptathlon champion. She said "If I'm honest I don't want to risk any further damage to my ankle and calf. I cannot take this risk - the World Championships has to be my priority."

London 2012- Jacques Rogge has dismissed that the 2012 logo is 'racist' in anyway. The Iranian said it was "racist logo". He was also confident that no country will boycott the competition in the end and it will be a really good Olympics hosted by the UK and London.

And Finally the British Weightlifting team has been given automatic qualification into the Weightlighting in the Olympics as they are the host nation.
